This small domed copper rectangle adds a refined, textural element to your designs. Its subtle curve and compact size make it ideal as either a focal or accent bead in earrings, necklaces, or bracelets. The surface is lightly hammered, then flame-patinated in warm oranges and reds and sealed to preserve its color. Drilled horizontally through the upper third, it hangs cleanly and stays put. Caring for Patricia Healey Copper
Patricia Healey Copper components are sealed with a clear lacquer to help preserve the vibrant color and protect the surface. Over time, jewelry naturally picks up traces of lotion, sweat, and skin oils, and a gentle wipe with Endust helps keep your piece clean and well cared-for.
Endust is wax-free and silicone-free, with a touch of mineral oil that dissolves smudges and leaves a subtle, clean sheen. This helps preserve the lacquer’s clarity so the copper underneath stays vibrant and beautiful.
For added protection, you can also use Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish. Apply it sparingly with a soft cloth and be sure to buff it out completely. Used this way, it creates a thin, invisible layer that helps resist fingerprints and moisture, extending the life of your lacquer finish.
