The small puffy heart-shaped bead is a charming design perfect for embellishing beaded necklaces or transforming into a charm for a charm bracelet. It can also be incorporated into a beaded bracelet or serve as a focal bead on earrings. This original design by Patricia Healey is crafted from pure copper. A touch of gold peeks through the seams, thanks to the bronze solder, adding rustic elegance. There is a beautiful spectrum of colors in oranges and reds, accomplished through torching and then lacquering the color in to stabilize it. The shaping of the heart is done through an old-fashioned technique called repoussé, where the metal is lifted from the reverse side to give form to the bead.
