This original design by Patricia Healey, is ideal for necklaces 20 inches or shorter. Made from pure copper, it is handcrafted using the old-fashioned repoussé technique, where the metal is lifted from the reverse side to create the owl's form. The pendant has intricate hand-stamped details on the wings and tail, with eyes exaggerated by a large ring of twisted brass. Heat-treated to bring out beautiful hues of oranges and reds, the owl is then sealed with lacquer to protect its vibrant colors.
