Small and richly detailed, this handcrafted hexagon bead is designed to stay balanced in your jewelry. Drilled just above center, it hangs flat and avoids flipping, making it ideal for necklaces. The surface is hammered for added texture, with touches of bronze solder subtly exposed at the seams. Flame-patinated in deep oranges and reds, the finish is sealed to preserve its color. It pairs beautifully with the larger version of the same design, offering contrast and cohesion in layout. An original copper component by Patricia Healey.

Caring for Patricia Healey Copper
Patricia Healey Copper components are sealed with a clear lacquer to help preserve the vibrant color and protect the surface. Over time, jewelry naturally picks up traces of lotion, sweat, and skin oils, and a gentle wipe with Endust helps keep your piece clean and well cared-for.
Endust is wax-free and silicone-free, with a touch of mineral oil that dissolves smudges and leaves a subtle, clean sheen. This helps preserve the lacquer’s clarity so the copper underneath stays vibrant and beautiful.
For added protection, you can also use Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish. Apply it sparingly with a soft cloth and be sure to buff it out completely. Used this way, it creates a thin, invisible layer that helps resist fingerprints and moisture, extending the life of your lacquer finish.
