Sculptural and full of energy, this copper heart slider is alive with texture and dimension. Raised brass spikes burst from the heart’s surface, giving it motion and edge from every angle. The heart itself is formed in low relief and surrounded by hand-scribed lines that radiate outward.
Sized for 10mm flat leather, it curves slightly to follow the wrist. The signature red patina, created through Patricia Healey’s flame-torch technique and sealed with lacquer, brings warmth to the copper while the brass frame adds a clean finish.

Caring for Patricia Healey Copper
Patricia Healey Copper components are sealed with a clear lacquer to help preserve the vibrant color and protect the surface. Over time, jewelry naturally picks up traces of lotion, sweat, and skin oils, and a gentle wipe with Endust helps keep your piece clean and well cared-for.
Endust is wax-free and silicone-free, with a touch of mineral oil that dissolves smudges and leaves a subtle, clean sheen. This helps preserve the lacquer’s clarity so the copper underneath stays vibrant and beautiful.
For added protection, you can also use Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish. Apply it sparingly with a soft cloth and be sure to buff it out completely. Used this way, it creates a thin, invisible layer that helps resist fingerprints and moisture, extending the life of your lacquer finish.
