This medium simple heart bead, strung from side to side, is perfect for necklace design, and makes a striking focal bead for earrings. The puffy shape, the same on both sides, is achieved using the traditional repoussé technique, which lifts the metal from the reverse side to give form to the heart. The bead features vibrant colors ranging from oranges to reds, created through heating and then sealed with lacquer for protection. Made from pure copper, this bead adds a touch of rustic elegance and color to any jewelry piece. This is an original design by Patricia Healey.

Caring for Patricia Healey Copper
Patricia Healey Copper components are sealed with a clear lacquer to help preserve the vibrant color and protect the surface. Over time, jewelry naturally picks up traces of lotion, sweat, and skin oils, and a gentle wipe with Endust helps keep your piece clean and well cared-for.
Endust is wax-free and silicone-free, with a touch of mineral oil that dissolves smudges and leaves a subtle, clean sheen. This helps preserve the lacquer’s clarity so the copper underneath stays vibrant and beautiful.
For added protection, you can also use Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish. Apply it sparingly with a soft cloth and be sure to buff it out completely. Used this way, it creates a thin, invisible layer that helps resist fingerprints and moisture, extending the life of your lacquer finish.
