This right-facing copper dolphin charm, handcrafted by Patricia Healey, is shaped using the traditional repoussé technique, where the copper is lifted from the reverse side to form its graceful shape. Additional hammered textures and hand-stamping enhance its detailed surface. Torch-fired to reveal vibrant reds and oranges, the charm is sealed with lacquer to preserve its bright, lasting finish. Ideal for shorter necklaces up to 16 inches, it pairs with its left-facing twin to create whimsical earrings.

Caring for Patricia Healey Copper
Patricia Healey Copper components are sealed with a clear lacquer to help preserve the vibrant color and protect the surface. Over time, jewelry naturally picks up traces of lotion, sweat, and skin oils, and a gentle wipe with Endust helps keep your piece clean and well cared-for.
Endust is wax-free and silicone-free, with a touch of mineral oil that dissolves smudges and leaves a subtle, clean sheen. This helps preserve the lacquer’s clarity so the copper underneath stays vibrant and beautiful.
For added protection, you can also use Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish. Apply it sparingly with a soft cloth and be sure to buff it out completely. Used this way, it creates a thin, invisible layer that helps resist fingerprints and moisture, extending the life of your lacquer finish.
