There’s a sense of motion in this piece, with the spiral pendant at center drawing the eye inward. The pendant itself is handcrafted in genuine copper, domed for depth and detailed with a tightly twisted spiral. Its swing-style bail passes through a copper tube accented with faux brass screw heads, giving a subtle mechanical edge. Torch-fired to a rich red patina and sealed with lacquer, the pendant holds a rustic, dimensional beauty.
The strand is strung with African tourmaline in a sea-blue green, prized for its depth of color, rich saturation, and the natural inclusions that give each stone unique character. Endust is wax-free and silicone-free, with a touch of mineral oil that dissolves smudges and leaves a subtle, clean sheen. This helps preserve the lacquer’s clarity so the copper underneath stays vibrant and beautiful.
For added protection, you can also use Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish. Apply it sparingly with a soft cloth and be sure to buff it out completely. Used this way, it creates a thin, invisible layer that helps resist fingerprints and moisture, extending the life of your lacquer finish.
