This delightful Frenchie bulldog pendant by Patricia Healey is ideal for necklace designs between 16 and 24 inches. It is crafted from solid copper with a red patina achieved through torch firing and then sealed in with a lacquer. This mixed metal pendant features a contoured brass snout and detailed brass eyes, adding precious personality. Made using the traditional repousse technique, the metal is shaped from the reverse side to create beautiful contours. Perfect for dog lovers and those seeking distinctive, artistic jewelry components, this Frenchie bulldog pendant adds creativity and playfulness to your designs.

Fun Fact: French bulldogs were originally bred in England as miniature bulldogs and later became popular in France, hence their name.

*Handmade and flame-finished, each piece will have its own unique color variation.

Caring for Patricia Healey Copper

Patricia Healey Copper components are sealed with a clear lacquer to help preserve the vibrant color and protect the surface. Over time, jewelry naturally picks up traces of lotion, sweat, and skin oils, and a gentle wipe with Endust helps keep your piece clean and well cared-for.

Endust is wax-free and silicone-free, with a touch of mineral oil that dissolves smudges and leaves a subtle, clean sheen. This helps preserve the lacquer’s clarity so the copper underneath stays vibrant and beautiful.

For added protection, you can also use Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish. Apply it sparingly with a soft cloth and be sure to buff it out completely. Used this way, it creates a thin, invisible layer that helps resist fingerprints and moisture, extending the life of your lacquer finish.

*Endust for everyday care, Renaissance Wax for extra armor… together they keep your copper looking its very best.
