Often seen as a messenger of hope, the dove brings a sense of optimism and renewal. This original pendant, designed by Patricia Healey, is crafted in pure copper with brass accents. Highly detailed with stamping and brass embellishments, it offers plenty of texture and interest. The bird’s form is achieved using the repoussé technique, lifting the metal from the reverse side to give the dove a lifelike, flying appearance. The golden brass frame adds contrast and strength, while the surface reveals rich reds and oranges from torch-firing, sealed for lasting color.

Caring for Patricia Healey Copper
Patricia Healey Copper components are sealed with a clear lacquer to help preserve the vibrant color and protect the surface. Over time, jewelry naturally picks up traces of lotion, sweat, and skin oils, and a gentle wipe with Endust helps keep your piece clean and well cared-for.
Endust is wax-free and silicone-free, with a touch of mineral oil that dissolves smudges and leaves a subtle, clean sheen. This helps preserve the lacquer’s clarity so the copper underneath stays vibrant and beautiful.
For added protection, you can also use Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish. Apply it sparingly with a soft cloth and be sure to buff it out completely. Used this way, it creates a thin, invisible layer that helps resist fingerprints and moisture, extending the life of your lacquer finish.
