A peaceful dove symbolizes hope and resilience in this handcrafted copper and brass locket by Patricia Healey. Created using repoussé technique, the dove is shaped from behind to form a raised relief that brings it softly to life. The swinging door opens to reveal a small space for a photo, keepsake, or resin art, secured by a decorative locking clasp. Warm reds and soft oranges develop through torch-firing and are sealed with lacquer to protect the rich, rustic finish. An artisan-crafted piece, perfect for necklaces and cherished by those drawn to jewelry with spirit and soul.

Caring for Patricia Healey Copper
Patricia Healey Copper components are sealed with a clear lacquer to help preserve the vibrant color and protect the surface. Over time, jewelry naturally picks up traces of lotion, sweat, and skin oils, and a gentle wipe with Endust helps keep your piece clean and well cared-for.
Endust is wax-free and silicone-free, with a touch of mineral oil that dissolves smudges and leaves a subtle, clean sheen. This helps preserve the lacquer’s clarity so the copper underneath stays vibrant and beautiful.
For added protection, you can also use Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish. Apply it sparingly with a soft cloth and be sure to buff it out completely. Used this way, it creates a thin, invisible layer that helps resist fingerprints and moisture, extending the life of your lacquer finish.
