There’s playful energy in this design, with the octopus pendant at center brimming with character. Hand-formed in genuine copper using the repoussé technique, its form is detailed with small copper discs that were hand-stamped and finished with brass centers, giving the eyes a lively, alert expression. The curving arms are shaped with sculptural lines that suggest motion and life beneath the sea. Accented with brass and finished in a flame-red patina, the pendant is sealed to preserve its rich color.
The strand is strung with cube-cut aquamarine quartz, its sea-glass tones paired with cultured pearls and aquamarine-colored Swarovski crystals for soft shimmer and contrast. Each arm of the octopus finishes with a dangling pearl and crystal accent, adding rhythm and sparkle as the necklace is worn. A hand-forged copper toggle clasp is shaped into a nautical shell, completing the ocean-inspired design.

Patricia Healey Copper components are sealed with a clear lacquer to help preserve the vibrant color and protect the surface. Over time, jewelry naturally picks up traces of lotion, sweat, and skin oils, and a gentle wipe with Endust helps keep your piece clean and well cared-for.
Endust is wax-free and silicone-free, with a touch of mineral oil that dissolves smudges and leaves a subtle, clean sheen. This helps preserve the lacquer’s clarity so the copper underneath stays vibrant and beautiful.
For added protection, you can also use Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish. Apply it sparingly with a soft cloth and be sure to buff it out completely. Used this way, it creates a thin, invisible layer that helps resist fingerprints and moisture, extending the life of your lacquer finish.
