Butterflies are more than just beautiful, they’re delicate, determined travelers with a purpose. This handcrafted copper pendant, an original design by Patricia Healey, captures that spirit in metal. Using the traditional repoussé technique, the butterfly’s form is shaped from the reverse side, while hand-stamped and hammered details add texture and movement.
Flame-patinated in warm shades of orange and red, then sealed for lasting vibrancy, this pendant is ideal for necklace lengths around 28 inches or shorter.

Caring for Patricia Healey Copper
Patricia Healey Copper components are sealed with a clear lacquer to help preserve the vibrant color and protect the surface. Over time, jewelry naturally picks up traces of lotion, sweat, and skin oils, and a gentle wipe with Endust helps keep your piece clean and well cared-for.
Endust is wax-free and silicone-free, with a touch of mineral oil that dissolves smudges and leaves a subtle, clean sheen. This helps preserve the lacquer’s clarity so the copper underneath stays vibrant and beautiful.
For added protection, you can also use Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish. Apply it sparingly with a soft cloth and be sure to buff it out completely. Used this way, it creates a thin, invisible layer that helps resist fingerprints and moisture, extending the life of your lacquer finish.
