Hand-formed in solid copper, this scallop shell toggle clasp brings a coastal feel to your jewelry with its deep ridges, hand-applied texture, and rich flame patina. The shell's curved shape sits beautifully at the neckline or wrist and makes a standout closure for larger pieces. A matching bar and lead chain complete the clasp, all made by hand to reflect the character of your work.
Shipped with the bar attached to the ring using an open jump ring to keep the parts together in transit. Simply remove the jump ring before using in your design.

Caring for Patricia Healey Copper
Patricia Healey Copper components are sealed with a clear lacquer to help preserve the vibrant color and protect the surface. Over time, jewelry naturally picks up traces of lotion, sweat, and skin oils, and a gentle wipe with Endust helps keep your piece clean and well cared-for.
Endust is wax-free and silicone-free, with a touch of mineral oil that dissolves smudges and leaves a subtle, clean sheen. This helps preserve the lacquer’s clarity so the copper underneath stays vibrant and beautiful.
For added protection, you can also use Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish. Apply it sparingly with a soft cloth and be sure to buff it out completely. Used this way, it creates a thin, invisible layer that helps resist fingerprints and moisture, extending the life of your lacquer finish.
