The pure copper bone bezel, an original design by Patricia Healey, is 4 mm deep and perfect for resin art, photos, enamel work, clay, and mixed media natural elements. Made from pure copper with brass accents, it has a beautiful orange and red patina achieved through torch heating. The colors are sealed in with lacquer for protection. The pendant’s bail is riveted in a ladder configuration and has a nice flow and movement to it, adding another layer of interest to pendant designs. Brass balls soldered onto the sides provide additional texture. The detailed craftsmanship and vibrant colors make this bezel an excellent choice for necklace design.

Caring for Patricia Healey Copper
Patricia Healey Copper components are sealed with a clear lacquer to help preserve the vibrant color and protect the surface. Over time, jewelry naturally picks up traces of lotion, sweat, and skin oils, and a gentle wipe with Endust helps keep your piece clean and well cared-for.
Endust is wax-free and silicone-free, with a touch of mineral oil that dissolves smudges and leaves a subtle, clean sheen. This helps preserve the lacquer’s clarity so the copper underneath stays vibrant and beautiful.
For added protection, you can also use Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish. Apply it sparingly with a soft cloth and be sure to buff it out completely. Used this way, it creates a thin, invisible layer that helps resist fingerprints and moisture, extending the life of your lacquer finish.
