Shell width 68mm x height 20mm, Bar 22mm, Chain Lead 14mm ~ Material-Copper
Grid is in 1/2" increments.
*Note that we connect the toggle bar to the ring with an open jump ring that you'll need to remove to separate the two pieces. We do this to keep the components together when we ship them out to you. This way no parts are lost while unpacking.
This toggle closure makes a nice finishing touch when using the "Broad-Ribbed Cardita Shell Pendant" as your focal piece. Click here to see the "Broad-Ribbed Cardita Shell Pendant"

My process for making the copper components. We’ve manipulated the color of the copper using genuine top shelf copper and changing the colors using both heat and chemistry. Read on!:
Original Artwork by Patricia Healey ~ Each gorgeous genuine copper bead and pendant is handmade from sheet metal. First we cut the shapes out, then put form to metal using the technique of “Repousse”, (beating the crap out of the metal from the reverse side giving it form). We use a bronze solder which you can sometimes see as bits of gold peeking through the solder seams. To get the rich colors we use our top secret patination formula and then fire it up with a torch. Finally, the color is sealed in with a metal lacquer.

To clean your copper, spray a little Endust on a soft cloth and wipe gently. This helps remove lotions, sweat, grit, soil, and even peanut butter (yep, it works!).
What’s great about Endust is that it builds up a protective wax layer with repeated use, helping to strengthen the lacquer. Keep in mind: lacquer can wear down over time, especially if scratched or exposed to dry air. Endust helps restore the finish by filling in small scratches and leaving behind a light wax coating.
*Other spray polishes work too, but I find Endust gives the best results on metal.*
