With a swivel of its head, the owl surveyed its moonlit kingdom from the branch. This copper owl on a branch, an original design by Patricia Healey, is full of intricate details. Framed in brass, the owl is made from pure copper and hand-stamped for added texture, with further detailing in brass. The pendant has beautiful hues of oranges and reds, achieved through heat treatment, and then lacquered to seal in the color. Designed to adorn necklaces, the form of the owl was created using the traditional repoussé technique, where the metal is lifted from the reverse side to give it shape.
