Patricia Healey's original design features a copper cross on a plaque, crafted from pure copper and brass. Designed for necklaces, it showcases strong, hand-stamped lines that provide a backdrop for the cross. The cross is formed using hand stamping and the repoussé technique, which lifts the metal from the reverse side. The detailing is remarkable, with the frame accentuated by hammering and added texture. The beautiful colors of gold, oranges, and red are achieved through torch firing and sealed with lacquer. This versatile design is best suited for a necklace 24 inches or shorter, with a bail that fits a 2 mm leather cord.
