This charming little dolphin pendant, designed by Patricia Healey, is crafted from pure copper and swims to the right. It's a great size for adding to a shorter necklace, no longer than 16 inches. The artist has mirrored this design, offering another dolphin swimming to the left, ideal for whimsical earrings. The vibrant reds and oranges are achieved through torch firing and sealed with lacquer to protect the colors. The dolphin's form is created using the traditional repoussé technique, where the metal is lifted from the reverse side, and further texture is added with hand stamping and peening hammer. Dolphins are known for their intelligence, playfulness, and strong social bonds, ALL excellent qualities to reflect in your jewelry designs!

Spray a little Endust on a soft cloth and gently wipe your copper piece clean. It lifts away grit, lotion, sweat, even peanut butter (yes, really). Endust works wonders on metal, and over time it leaves behind a subtle wax buildup that helps protect the lacquer and enhance the shine.
Since lacquer can wear down from dry air or small scratches, this light cleaning method helps keep your copper looking vibrant while sealing over minor scuffs.
*Other spray polishes work too, but I stick with Endust. It's gentle, effective, and gives your copper a little extra oomph.
