The big copper feather pendant, designed by Patricia Healey, is a stunning mixed metal piece of pure copper with brass accents. Ideal for necklaces of 20 inches or shorter, the feather is oriented horizontally. Decorative bales with spirals enhance its design, while hand stamping adds intricate detail and small brass balls next to the center provide texture. The vibrant hues of reds and oranges are achieved through torch heating and sealed with lacquer. The feather's form is shaped using the traditional repoussé technique, lifting metal from the reverse side.
